Description

An original 1st press of W&B's on the UK Apple label. Matrix Z5/Z6 - 1st cut [US catalogue number present and has been crossed out - which you find on all 1st pressings]. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original pocket cover with the flip-over sections on the front. Also included is the booklet and the original inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side and one very superficial trail - absolutely nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. Expect nothing more than a few static crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. A really sweet player...
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Well, this is another one of those covers which is a real pain to find in top condition. Very prone to wear along the edges - and those flip-over sections are somewhat at risk! But this copy is one of those occasional examples that defies the odds and has been very very carefully looked after down the years. Those flip-over sections are in pristine condition. There's no tearing or wear and the edges are still perfectly square. Back and front are very clean and tidy - no signs of ageing here or grubbiness. Edge wear is almost non-existent and that is incredibly unusual on this title. The spine is superbly preserved with the text all still legible and only the faintest whiff of wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A very very fine example and I don't think you'll be seeing many at this standard.
Inner (Ex+) Pretty much perfect. No signs of ageing. No splits.
Booklet (Ex+) All intact. No ageing. No markings. Not heavily thumbed at all.
