John and Yoko's third episode in their "Unfinished Music" series Although not titled as such it was a souvenir of their marriage which took place on March 20th 1969 in Gibraltar.
Side A John & Yoko (22.38) Side B Amsterdam (24.54) John & Yoko consists of the couple calling each other's names in varying ways; shouting, crying, whispering, pleading, laughing, wailing etc etc. To the sound of their own heartbeats,
Amsterdam Was recorded on a cassette during John and Yoko's honeymoon "bed-in" in the Hilton Hotel. Amsterdam on March 26th 1969 The recording consists mainly of John and Yoko talking to reporters about peace, bagism and their bed-ins, but also includes four musical items. The opening song by Yoko is called John, Let's Hope For Peace Second offering is from John, who strums a guitar and sings Goodbye Amsterdam Goodbye. John and Yoko then sing a song probably called Stay In Bed and finally John sings a very Off Key rendition of Goodnight from the "White Album"
