Description
On offer is a UK copy of the John Lennon/Yoko Ono avant garde 'Wedding Album', Apple SAPCOR 11, with correct plain inner sleeve and gatefold laminated outer sleeve in VG to EX condition. The record is very clean with only one real visible mark on side one which does not affect play (not that I expect you will play it much....), labels are clean. It come with the original UK issue book 'The Press', UK issue fold-out poster 'The Wedding' and the UK card piece of Wedding cake. The box is UK original issue printed by Shenval press, the lid is quite tatty but complete apart from about 1" of one edge which is completely missing, and includes the Wedding Certificate pasted on the inside which is clean apart from a tiny bit of sellotape residue. Photos 1 & 2 show you waht you get from the original UK issue set. The only things missing are the cartoon poster, the plastic bag fro the Wedding cake, and the photo strip and postcard, BUT THERE'S MORE....
...also included are copies from the US Apple (SMAX-3361) of the book 'The Press', the poster 'The Wedding' and the cartoon poster, so the only thing you don't get at all is the photo strip or the postcard. Photo 3 shows the box lid again with the three extra US parts provided.
Complete and mint copies of this set sell for eye-watering amounts of money, this lot gives you nearly the complete set offered at a low start with no reserve.
