Description
John Lennon- Imagine UK 1st Pressing 12” LP Vinyl + Postcard (1971).
The 2nd studio album by John Lennon, released in September 1971 by Apple Records. The classic album's lush sound contrasts the basic, small-group arrangements of his first album, whilst the opening title track is widely considered to be his signature song.
This particular vinyl is a 1971 UK 1st pressing (pinched spine cover) on custom Apple labels and housed in a fully laminated picture sleeve. The inner sleeve has credits in a spiral with artist photos. The flip-side has lyrics in a 'starburst' style and comes complete with postcard. Sadly, the fold-out poster is missing!

Record in NM condition- appears to have barely been played with no marks, scratches or scuffs, only a few light hairlines are visible when under bright light, labels are clean with no spindle wear, play and sound quality is superb and still retains its original high sheen.
Sleeve in VGC+- artwork is clean, shows minimal wear and minor laminate creasing on edges, spine is sturdy, uncrushed and readable with no wear, seam split along top and starting to split along bottom.
Inlay in VGC+- no rips, tears or creases, small splits along the edges of the sleeve (please see close up images) but does not affect storage or protection of record, signs of age-related discolouration.
Postcard in NM condition- near perfect and unused with no creases or signs of wear and tear.
