Description
John Martyn - London Conversation
(Island ILP 952 UK LP 1967)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve. It comes with a polythene-lined plain inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A/ B matrix stampers. It has textured pink Island labels which has a circle logo.
A very rare UK Folk LP. A genuine UK 1st pressing.
Sleeve: There is a 2 cm tear at the front sleeve opening. There is a 3 cm seam split at the centre of the spine. There is also a 2 cm seam split at the centre bottom. There is some mild to moderate fading/ staining on the rear. Good condition.
Vinyl: Mild to moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG- condition. The labels are clean but show moderate spindle wear. Plays VG overall & VG+ in some places. There is some light crackle in some quieter places. There are a very few light clicks on 3 tracks.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
