Description
This is the promotional 3 disc box set of John Martyn's 1986 album Piece by Piece. It contains 2 interview discs running at 33rpm interspersed with the songs Nightline, Dusty, Bless The Weather, May You Never, Sweet Little Mystery, Lonely Love, Piece By Piece, Serendipity and John Wayne and another 5 song disc Classic John Martyn running at 45rpm. The songs on this are Angeline, Tight Connection To My Heart, May You Never, Certain Surprise and One day Without You.
The box is slightly out of shape and slightly worn and is more worn on the top front edge. At the top right side a sticker mark is slightly visible Both the interview discs were originally printed with 45rpm on them but actually play at 33rpm. The 45rpm has been blacked out with a felt pen and 33 written next to it. The set also comes with a 20 page full colour booklet with John's history, discography and many photographs. This is a very hard to find item and I have never seen it advertised for sale before. It would make a worthwhile addition to any fans collection. I will refund fully if you are not happy with this item. I would preferably like to be paid by cheque and if posting overseas postage costs will be slightly higher.
