Description

Welcome to my auctions....check out the other vinyl listed, more added each week and follow me so you don't miss out.

My dad was a private collector, he collected thousands and thousands of records from 1950's to early 2000's, many are rarities, obscurities and some are unique, I am not a dealer, just selling the collection now he is unable to do so himself.

You can expect great service/fast dispatch/super strong packaging/combined shipping and honest, no nonsense gradings BUT Please read descriptions.

John Mayall – A Hard Road - Earliest 1st UK Red Unboxed Decca Labels – Mono - Very Rare Press - 1967 - Earliest 1st UK Mono Pressing – Laminated Front Unlaminated Back Mono Sleeve - Great Condition Vinyl and Sleeve

LK 4853

1967

ARL-7652-2A

ARL-7653-2A

Side 1 has only one very faint hairline and a handful of small faint surface marks, nothing that can be felt, Side 2 has 3 small faint scratches near edge and a couple of very faint surface marks, Apart from that, on both sides, there are some extremely light sleeve removal marks and the slightest inner sleeve pattern, Still has a Great Shine and for near 50 years old...Stunning Condition. The Record has been stored for years and will benefit from a proper clean, I will let the new owner do this.

PLAYTESTED fully and it plays all the way through with no sticks, jumps or skips. The Audio Is Strong and Clear with No Lessening In Sound Quality. There is light static, with the odd click during quiet parts, which during the louder tracks is not noticable. A Great Playing Copy.

Labels are clean, No Wear or damage, some signs of being played under strong light (spiders legs)...see photos Great Labels

Earliest Laminated Front, Unlaminated Back Mono Sleeve has only slight wear, Front is flat and clean. Front is glossy with no rubbing, there are a couple of tiny creases from edges and some creasing/laminated bubbling along spine edge, Corners are crisp, top right has light wear. Top and Bottom Edges have no wear, Opening edge has no wear, slight selotape residue along opening edge, inside opening and a brown line along back opening edge, Spine is solid and fully readable, The back is still pretty clean with no rubbing/fading, a couple of grubby marks near top and bottom.....A Great example of this rare sleeve that is very flimsy. See Photos

The Original Inner is flat and clean with no damage or splits.

A Very Rare Earliest 1st UK Press Mono LP In Stunning condition.

I will describe any flaws such as wear to sleeves, scuffs, marks or scratches to vinyl and describe them honestly, if you expect a better condition than I have listed then you need to learn to read. I will grade based on visual inspection under artificial light. PLEASE remember this is Vinyl...even brand new vinyl can have clicks and pops...that's part of its charm...if you want perfect audio without background noise...how about CD's or MP3's?

NO POSTAGE/SHIPPING TO ROMANIA
