Description

Reasonably good copy of Mayall's classic 1967 album featuring the legendary Peter Green. This is a fairly rare Mono copy, catalogue number Decca LK 4853. Not a copy for the purist but will give good service until that NM example comes along. Matrices are ARL-7652-2A/ARL-7653-2A.

Single sleeve  VG-Front-laminated In fairly good shape generally. Some creasing evident on the front cover, as well as an old sticker mark. The reverse is slightly grubby with some age yellowing and a couple of names written along the top.

Labels Ex+ Very clean indeed. Moderate spindle traces only.

Inner Ex- Original Decca company Mono polylined bag.

Record  Visually VG-, quite a nice shine to the vinyl. However on Side 1 there are two visible scratches (see photo). These are not deep but are feelable and produce a few clicks during tracks 5,6 and 7. There are also some tiny 'bumps' in the surface of the vinyl, probably produced during the pressing process. I would grade the audio as VG+ overall, the clicks didn't spoil my enjoyment of the music and the sound is still fresh and exciting. Really not bad at all for a record which is 51 years old!
