Description
The duchess is back! Bringing to you another fine batch of rare/sought after items from my collection.
Including this one, a super rare fab condition record: Indo Jazz Fusions, by Joe Harriot, John Mayer & Double Quintet
No. SCX 6122. Dated 1967. Really rare Lp where by the Indian resourses are used.

This is a SCORCHING jazz rarity. Definately not run of the mill and VERY sought after!!!!!!!
I have played this record on my Pioneer Deck Amp through Wharfedale speakers using a M95 ED Cartridge. I will attempt to make everything as clear as i can to the best of my ability. I have looked at the record under a 100 watt lightbulb to make certain I can see anything that may be on the surface of the record.
Condition of the record -
- The central labels either side are EX/EX+ condition (not quite near mint) - please see photo. No writing, no tearing, no marks, just a couple of minor areas where the record has been moved over the spindle on side one (this can only be seen in the light), I cannot see a mark on side two at all.
- Under the light, I can see about 12 light surface scratches in total, on both sides. This is very light wear. I therefore grade this record as EXCELLENT-. . I have played the record both sides, and (to my relief!) played syperbly, with a tiny bit of static in some of the low spots (but not all). I heard 1 little crackle and a bit static sound in places. I enjoyed listening to this all the way through! very different t A great item - A must for any serious jazz collector!!!!!!
Condition of the cover -
- Front: Ex-/EX condition. A bit of minor wear along the opening and spots of wear on the 4 corners
- Back: , with some slight discolouration due to ageing, but not much, a bit of aging along the outside line of the folds, but i am being pretty picky!
- In line with my guide, I would therefore grade this as EXCELLENT/EX-.
