Description
This listing is for a vintage vinyl LP of the self-titled debut album by John Prine.
It was released in 1971 by Atlantic Records with catalog # SD 8296.
This is a US first pressing of the album.
Record Condition:
Moderate visible surface wear in the way of various light scratches
Surface noise is present at points, but fairly minimal most of the time.
Clean center labels.
Some light dust/dirt and a few finger print smudges, so a thorough cleaning would remove that and probably brighten the sound even more.
Industry Grade: Strong VG.
Jacket Condition:
Still partially in the original shrink wrap.
Minor to moderate visible wear on the exposed open side.
Some minor spotting and discoloration on the white back cover.
What appears to be ring wear seems to mostly actually be on the plastic shrink and not the sleeve itself.
No seam splits, writing, or any other major defects.
Includes original lyric sheet insert (creased corner).
Inner Sleeve: Original record label branded generic paper inner sleeve (creaesed corner).
Industry Grade: Low End VG+.
Stored in a smoke free home, out of any direct sunlight, and away from any extreme temperature changes.
Please see the various images on this listing for further details on the condition of the record and jacket.
