John Prine's Found Dogs is a newly curated archival release celebrating the 30th anniversary of Lost Dogs & Mixed Blessings. Drawn from the original recording sessions and demos from the era, Found Dogs collects alternate versions, acoustic performances, and five previously unreleased tracks, offering a rare look into Prine's songwriting and studio process during a pivotal period of his career.
Highlights include alternate takes of "Ain't Hurtin' Nobody" and "Quit Hollerin' At Me," a solo acoustic version of "Humidity Built the Snowman," demos such as "Lake Marie," and unreleased recordings including "Hey Ah Nothin'," "World Without Love,", "Dogs in Burlington" and a cover of Johnny Horton's "All For the Love of a Girl." All tracks have been newly mastered for vinyl. Released on LP by Oh Boy Records, the Record Store Day edition of Found Dogs is foil-numbered and pressed on coloured vinyl.
