Description

These are from an excellent collection. Vinyls were lightly played on decent equipment and then put onto tape. Covers have mostly been kept in heavy duty PVC sleeves. From what ive heard so far these are some of the cleanest sounding Folk/related records I have come across for many years. If you bought any of my early Dylan records you will have an idea of the condition of these. DESCRIPTION: John Renbourn- 1st self titled LP. In front laminated sleeve with heavyeight 150gm vinyl, A1/B2 matrix and purple globe rough textured labels. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Transatlantic TRA135 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1966 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/EX. Vinyl is really clean with a nice sheen. Its very, very near to EX and a million miles better than VG. Played nearly all of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent. Clear, clean and loud. You really wont get a much cleaner sounding copy than this. Cover is firm and square and has only light edgewear, cornerwear and light creasing. Has a little laminate lift around spine and initials and a date printed neatly to rear. ive made no attempt to remove or dull it. Really clean rough textured labels- check out the photos. No other writing No rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
