John Robinson Rare OZ LP Pity for the victim VG+ '74 Infinity L35309 Prog Psyche
Rare Original 1st Press OZ LP released in 1974 on Infinity Records. Cat: L35,309.
Uncovered in the out back of N.S.W. this record is part of a recent collection stored and unplayed for the last 20 years. Collected during the 90's and mostly sourced from overseas kept in a cool dry cellar there are some tasty gems on offer and we look forward to listing them over the next few months. All records have been professionally cleaned and play tested and graded conservatively.
Renowned and revered as one of Australia's original rock guitar heroes, John first emerged as the guitarist with highly regarded Sydney pop band The Dave Miller Set. After they split in late 1969 he formed a new band, the legendary Blackfeather, and they scored a significant hit with the single Seasons Of Change (which was equally successful for their mates Fraternity. He also managed to be a part of the group Duck before commencing work on his first solo album. Features Barry Leef, Jeff St. John, Bobbi Marchini on vocals with a stellar cast of muso's involved including Bobby Gebert, Les Pitt, Teddy Toi, Patrick Bleakley, Bruno Lawrence and more.

There are some light spindle marks and age spots on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and a few very light scratches that cause some light crackles most noticeable at fade out on side one and beginning of side two and is in VG+ condition. Gatefold cover has some ring wear, light age spots and marks and is in VG++ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
