Description

One of the rarest and hardest to find UK folk lps and so very good. John Timpany and Audrey Smith- Turtle Dove UK original on Real records from 1975.RR2005. Don’t let this one get away. Searched for by Folk collectors in the know the world over this is a very elusive lp and I believe less than a hundred were made. I doubt you will find a better copy than this as the Vinyl is Near Mint with just one very light mark which can only be seen in very bright light and has no affect on sound whatsoever. I have played it through and the whole lp plays beautifully. The cover is at least EX . A lovely copy of a beautiful and super rare LP. Tracks are The Turtle Dove , The Seagull/Martin Mulhaire’s no 1 , The TreadMill Song , Jolly Good Ale and Old , White Rose In the Bloom , Death Of Parker , Liberty For the Sailors, Where the Wild Wall Barley Grows , Some Rival Has Stolen my True Love Away , Cuckoo’s Nest , Fair Annie of LochRoyan, Yarmouth Lasses, Bonny Bunch of Roses, Sweet Joan ,Colliers Brig and Better the Devil Downstairs.
