Vinyl’s Prior To Being Graded

All vinyl’s LP’s & 12” Single are play tested before they are graded and listed, any marks or scratches will be checked to ensure that the vinyl does play without any problems and if there is any problems it will be stated on the listing. Vinyl’s that are very expensive and rare will be played on both sides in full. All 7” singles are played all the way through on both sides to ensure that they do play, 7” singles are more temperamental.

I don’t and wont visually grade a vinyl with out testing it, as you will find that most of the time the vinyl might look nice but sounds dreadful, skips, jumps or something else.

Vinyl Record Grading

Mint – The vinyl record is new and has not been played and is still sealed in its original cover.

Near Mint – Vinyl looks and sounds perfect.

Excellent – Vinyl shows light wear and also some signs of use

Very Very Good – Vinyl has been played a lot might have a few very light scuffs, marks & very light scratches, which don’t effect play.

Very Good – Vinyl has been heavily played, might have scuffs, marks and light scratches on it, will play all the way through, with very little deterioration in sound quality.

Good – Vinyl has a lot of light scratches, marks & scuffs. Will get some noise, It might jump occasionally but still plays.

OKAY – Vinyl has been played so heavily that there are lots of scratches, marks & scuffs, which will effect play.

Poor – Vinyl has been trashed it has loads of scratches and jumps a lot, might be cracked. Would only be listed if it is a rare vinyl.

Bad – Vinyl would be better off in the bin or if it is a rare vinyl then can be used for a slot filler.

If there is a cross over between grading’s then it will be a mix of both, i.e. One side of the vinyl is in excellent condition and the other side of the vinyl will be in very very good condition.

Returns Policy

Please contract me first if you are returning an item, An exchange will be offered if available. A refund will be given for the item once it has be received, in the same condition it was sent out in. In the event that a mistake has been made on my part then returns postage will be paid. If you are returning an item that you bought by mistake or that you have changed your mind then the returns postage will not be refunded

Shipping

All items are dispatched between Monday to Friday, excluding national holidays and weekends. Your orders will be dispatched in one working day and the latest will be two working days.

International buyers there is a parcel weight limit of 2kg for items. Items over a certain value will be sent signed for.

Packaging

All vinyl’s are sent out in vinyl mailers and stiffeners for extra protection. Please note that if you require your item to be sent out a different way, example wanting the vinyl removed from the sleeve. Please contact me prior to dispatch. Any other items will be sent out in secure packaging or boxed appropriately.

Delivery

If you have not received your item please contact your local sorting office first to see if it is being held for you there, which tends to be the case most times. In the event that the item is not being held at the local sorting office please contact me to try and resolve the matter first.

Problems & Feedback

If you have not received your order or not completely satisfied with it please contact me first, as your feedback is very important to me. Issues can be very easily resolved with a quick email.

Unpaid Items Dispute

If you have a problem with paying for an item please contact me. In the event that once you have won an item and not paid for the item, you will be contacted to arrange payment with in 4 Days of the purchase and if payment is not made then an unpaid case will be opened.
