~ Cancon Vinyl Auctions ~ You are bidding on this ORIGINAL LP by Johnny Burnette & The Rock'n Roll Trio on Coral Records CRL 57080, original Canadian pressing from 1958.
This is an original Canadian pressing release pressed at the Quality Records Plants in Canada. Manufactured at a later period in 1958, Quality Records attempted to capture distribution revenue from the previous US release in late 1956.
This Canadian pressing is extremely rarer than the US pressing and offers a better sound recording quality due to the softer vinyl composites used in Canada compared to the more rigid styrene composites used in the US market.
This LP is regarded worldwide as the best Rockabilly LP ever produced.
This fabulous copy retains nice clean front and rear covers with full crisp brilliant colors.
All corners, spines and seams are exceptional and the vinyl retains it's original full gleaming gloss other than a few faint paper sleeve marks.
Both labels are also super clean.
Both front and rear covers retain the original designated Quality foil stickers. The "Stereophonic" gold foil sticker however is doubtful ( Stereo format didn't exist in 1958) - Quality Records was known to error with this designation.
The owners address and the original Freimart store price tags are also included with this copy - adding a nice little bit of history to this piece.
The original mechanically stamped matrix numbers are MG5032T2 1PS and MG5033T2 1PS.
This copy is certain to please the true Johnny Burnette collector.
Grading is strict on this item.
