For sale is Johnny Cash American III: Solitary Man , originally released in 2000 by The American Recording Company as the third in a series of monumental recordings by Rick Rubin. I bought this new, played it once or twice and immediately put it away in storage until today. I always put my new records directly into a protective inner sleeve(s), thus preserving the integrity of the insert(s) and the original inner sleeve(s). This inner sleeve is Near Mint. The vinyl is Near Mint. The cover is Near Mint with only minor shelf wear such as barely noticeable ring wear. The spine is perfect. This iconic record would be hard to find in this condition ever again! It's a wonderful sounding record! It's been played only on Audiophile equipment and still has a lot of life yet. This would make a great addition to a anyone's collection. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
