Johnny Cash, Country 78 rpm, Sun 241-- I Walk The Line/Get Rhythm Vg++

JOHNNY CASH, Sun 241, 78rpm, “Get Rhythm” b/w “I Walk The Line.”  Condition is VG++ (plays better)

~~~~~
These are two of the finest early songs by the great JOHNNY CASH and the TENNESSEE TWO… on the Memphis Sun label.
~~~~~

The record is visually graded as VG++ (sounds more like Ex-), with little of the usual 78 rpm hiss, crackle and pop... and true to SUN pressings, it plays above grade.  There are minor scuffs and scratches.

   USA shipping is: $4.00 media rate or $12.50 priority rate.  These prices include postage and package-within-a-package packing.  Parcels in USA will be shipped media rate unless you specify priority.

   Postal insurance (USA only) is included in your shipping charges at no additional cost if total value of your winnings is $75.00 or more.

Shipping via media mail is slow & the Post Office can take up to 3+ weeks to deliver. I appreciate your patience.

 ~~~~~
  For international shipping rates please inquire before bidding... and please await my invoice before paying.
(International packages over 4 pounds may require priority shipping)
~~~~~~~~

To reduce shipping costs, multiple winnings and/or winnings from multiple auctions will be shipped together.  Please add $1.00 for each additional record)      ~~~~~~~~   PACKING: With many years of buying/selling 78's (and 100% positive feedback) please rest assured that my packaging is designed to correctly protect 78s. Owing to the extra care taken with packaging, 78s are usually shipped within three to five business days following payment. I pack with all due haste but packing carefully takes time... and I pack very carefully.    In the multiple hundreds of 78s I have mailed, none have been lost or damaged - however, total winnings over $75.00 are insured and should the worst case occur you will be able to issue a claim for damages with the US Post Office.  Buyer has the option of purchasing insurance for total winnings under $75.00.

 RECORD GRADING

 PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION ON GRADING AND CONTACT ME WITH QUESTIONS BEFORE THE END OF THE AUCTION:

I use the VJM-style grading system, plus comments:

E+ E E- Vg+ Vg Vg- G+ G G- F

(Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair)

RECORD GRADING:  When assigning a grade to the records I offer, I try to dig a little deeper.  I judge the record visually, but also listen to it to aid in assigning a reasonably accurate grade.  I stand by my record grading and I invite you to contact me if you think I've missed the mark.

THE LABEL:  If both labels are in similar condition I usually show the A side.  If there is significant damage I show the damaged side of the label.  On some labels my scanner has a bad habit of picking up reflections which appear as white dots or lines.  Also, with most colors the actual label is sharper, brighter, more vivid, and looks better than the scan would indicate... but over-all the scan should give an approximate image of the label's condition.
