A must have for any Johnny Cash fan!  This is one of those rare ones that come up that often. 

This record album should date to the 1970's and it is a private pressing I am sure was done in a small number of maybe 500 to 1000.The album is titled "ELEPHANTS Heads and Tales By Nat Winston",the person that helped Johnny Cash handle his addiction problem, recorded at "DOC'S PLACE" in Hendersonville, Tennessee.The album has continuous tracks on both sides and they are about the Tennessee Republican's of the era in music and song. The highlight of the album is a recitation of I AM THE NATION by the great Johnny Cash. My understanding is that the recording of I AM THE NATION was found in Johnny Cash's belongings after his death and released by SONY in 2008. I feel Johnny Cash did I AM THE NATION for this album, so here it is on vinyl in the 1970's for the first time.


Minor wear from age/use, slight ring wear, cut corner, otherwise very good+ condition.
