THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1st MONO PRESSING FROM 1964 of "The Voice that Is!" by Johnny Hartman with the orange label and gatefold jacket.
A-74 A, A-74 B, VANGELDER, LW (Longwear Plating Co.), ETCHED IN THE DEAD WAX. Original Impulse! Records orange label on vinyl. Deep Groove . This is the genuine article. 100% AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL Impulse Records Mono Pressing.
THIS RECORD IS FROM OUR PERSONAL COLLECTION. Well maintained. Very Rare.
*Because our clients are mostly jazz collectors and connoisseurs, as we are, we made it our policy to only sell vinyl that we grade in VERY GOOD (VG) condition or better. This vinyl is in our opinion a VG+, looks and plays great.
Record Grade VG+ = Very well maintained. We listen and play grade all records as we are posting the listings and this is a nice sounding album. Just listened to both sides and it plays great. It is from our personal collection. Little to no surface noise at all. A few visible surface scratches/scuffs that have little to no effect on music. A wrinkle crease on sticker side one is an original factory sticker wrinkle, we purchased the album new in 1964 and it came this way. Difficult to find this rare vintage mono recording in such nice condition. (see pictures)
Jacket Grade VG+ = Shiny, clean, well maintained. No staining. No writing. No tape. Has been kept in plastic. Glossy. Very small seem split at entry point top right of jacket. Tiny record store promotional copy puncture hole in jacket which makes it even more rare. ONE OWNER. A very clean jacket for a 52 year old album. (see pictures)
