Description
This album, Norgran MGN-1045 is entitled "Creamy." It was released in 1955, and features Johnny Hodges on sax, accompanied by Billy Strayhorn on piano, Sonny Greer on drums, Jimmy Woode on bass, Harry Carney on sax, Lawrence Brown on trombone, Clark Terry on trumpet, and Jimmy Hamilton on clarinet. The record would grade "VG-." There is surface noise; record plays fine except for the fact that it sticks in one track.. The jacket grades VG. The front is clean and unstained; the back has a couple of slight smudges. There is a four-inch seam split in the top seam on the right. Record label is unblemished. Domestic postage (Media Rate) is $3.50, which includes the price of a nice, re-usable record mailer. Multiple purchases will save on shipping. I have listed several other jazz albums, so check them out. Two records will ship for the same postage as one. Three records ship for $4.00 and four for $4.50. For the high bidder, for an additional $5.00 I will make a CD of this record. Your shipment will include both the CD and the record. Finally, if you would like to hear a couple of minutes of this record, so you can evaluate the surface noise, I can send you by email a "wav" file that you can play on your computer. This offer is good for the first six days of the auction. This appears to be a rare record; the opening bid amount is probably about what the jacket is worth.
