Description
Loving You Could Be Magic / Coming Home To You Baby by The Joint Effort (Ruby-Doo CJ-15, 1968)
Outstanding folky sunshine pop with great harmonies backed with a great soul-influenced midtempo pop rocker. This was the third and final single released by this great band, who were the house band at Gazzarri's on the Sunset Strip starting in the summer of 1967. They also appeared (unfortunately only as extras - no music appearance) in the hippie burial scene in "Psych-Out"! Produced (and B-side cowritten by) John Marascalco, who had written several songs for Little Richard including "Ready Teddy," "Good Golly Miss Molly," "Rip It Up," and "Send Me Some Lovin.'" Great record!
The vinyl is a strong VG+, and the labels are a very strong VG+ (very slight wear - see scan).
Shipping via First Class is $2.50 within the United States; shipping via Airmail outside of the U.S. is approximately $5.50 to Europe and $6.00 to Asia (depending on the country). I accept PayPal, checks, money orders (international or U.S.), or well-concealed cash.
Good luck!
