Joni Mitchell Blue 1971 TERRE HAUTE VINYL PRESSING.

COVER: VG MINUS Original 1971 Gatefold cover with Blue Inner Sleeve. As is the case with most vintage copies of this record this specific one displays ringwear and rubbing on both the front and back cover, and loss of blue dye. Name written in sharpie on front cover where Joni's chin is. Spine shoes rubbing and wear but is legible. Residue from a former sticker and a price sticker, dated "Nov 10 1975" and with ".75" cents written in pen, near top right corner of front cover. Back cover has some creases and scuffs. Inner Gatefold in better condition with only faint indentation of the record. Original Blue inner sleeve with evident indentation of the record. Border seams sustaining rubbing and damage, with one side having a giant tear streak spanning 9 inches / 23 cm (Record  is in different sleeve and will not be shipped in the original sleeve). 2 inch / 5 cm seam split on one side of the inner and 3/4 inch / 2 cm seam split on the bottom.
VINYL: VG MINUS 1971 Terre Haute pressing indicated by "T1'' and "(RE-2) BG" in deadwax. Close inspection of vinyl indicates its possibly pressed on recycled vinyl, but I haven't noticed how it affects the sound. Record has been cleaned but may clean up better on higher end equipment. Ghost marks and scuffs present on both sides. Small handful of more prominent marks, scuffs, and a tramline scratch. Opening tracks on both sides "All I Want" and "California" has brief moments of rotating pops. During Side 2 tracks "This Flight Tonight" and "River" crackle and noise floor is higher than usual, but ends during the intro of "A Case Of You".
