Description
Joni Mitchell's 1971 "Blue," used vinyl LP. Warner Bros/Reprise MS 2038, no barcode.
Without question, Mitchell's finest work, her Magnum Opus.
Prior to play-grading the album was cleaned using the Spin Clean MKII Record Washing System. Clean black vinyl LP play-graded Very Good Plus Condition. Small factory blemish near end of track one on Side one, does not affect replay, no audible issue.
High shine, minor surface hairline visible scratches that did not affect replay. Small amount of ambient intermittent noise, usually between tracks if present, small amount of faint occasional tic, no skips, no warping or major audio flaws.
Labels are clean and bright, text is easily readable. No excess spindle hole wear or errant spindle hole marks.
Jacket is graded Very Good Condition, with moderate fiber wear commensurate with normal use. This LP liner historically has shown fiber wear across the board, given the color/ design of the liner.
Fiber is generally clean and sturdy. Colors are still fairly strong and jacket text is easy to read. Spines are straight with no seam splits. Moderate corner rub. Moderate ring wear front and rear. Thin linear scratch on rear liner.
Gatefold interior is clean and easy to read. Lyrics printed for each song.
No cutout marks, drill holes, saw cuts, clipped corners, major creases, water stains, brown stains (foxing), ink or pen marks.
Inner sleeve (inlay) in Very Good Plus Condition with normal wear.

Play-graded on a Pro-ject Xpression III Turntable with Ortofon Red 2 stylus and cartridge.
Well cared for LP from a private collection in a smoke free home.
