Description
This is a sealed vintage reissue of Joni Mitchell’s landmark 1971 album Blue, issued as part of the Reprise “Super Saver Series” budget line. These editions were typically pressed in the late 1970s to early 1980s, and this copy matches that era: no barcode, original Super Saver Series shrink‑wrap sticker, and the classic MS 2038 catalog number.
The shrink is fully intact with clean corners and no cutouts, saw marks, or drill holes, making it an excellent example for collectors who prefer unopened copies. Because it remains sealed, the exact label variation and pressing plant cannot be confirmed, but Super Saver copies are known for solid sound quality and durable vinyl typical of Reprise/Warner manufacturing of the period.A sealed vintage pressing of Blue is increasingly hard to find, especially in this condition. Whether you’re a Joni Mitchell collector, a fan of classic singer‑songwriter albums, or looking for a standout gift, this is a beautiful archival‑quality piece.
Condition: • Still sealed in original shrink • Super Saver Series sticker present • No barcode (70s/early 80s issue) • Corners sharp; shrink tight; no cutouts
