Description
JONI MITCHELL - 'CLOUDS'
The winner of the Grammy for 'Best Folk Performance' in 1970 Joni Mitchell's second album 'Clouds' consisted of wonderful, sparsely arranged songs with little more than Mitchell's voice and solo acoustic guitar for accompaniment. Particularly well known on this album are the songs "Both Sides, Now" and "Chelsea Morning"
The cover is a self-portrait, depicting Mitchell's home town of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. I shows the South Saskatchewan River that flows through the city and the Bessborough Hotel, a historic railway hotel built in the days before asphalt-surface highways. Joni is holding a "Western Red Lily", the floral emblem of the Province of Saskatchewan.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean, bright and unworn set with a handful of barely visible spindle trails visible around the side 2 centre hole but none whatsoever around 1. There are a few minor blemishes to the paper on label 2 from manufacture.
Visual: MINT
Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which are 'as new' and completely unmarked but no strong daylight AND directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: MINT
This amazing sounding copy has clearly been barely played and the sound quality is guaranteed wonderful and flawless throughout with no clicks, ticks or any audible distractions of any kind. You will not be disappointed.
Cover: NEAR MINT
An amazing unworn example which look like it left the shops yesterday. both front & rear panels are totally unworn with no ring/stroagewear or creasing of bending of any kind. In fact, apart form tiny shelfwear rubs to the two lower corners, this would be almost impossible to upgrade.
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
Perfectly clean & white with just a few gentle storage wrinkles. This really is as good as these delicate inners get.
