Joni Mitchell ORIG OZ LP Mingus VG+ '79 Asylum 5E505 Jazz Rock
Original OZ LP released in 1979 on Asylum Records. Cat: 5E505. Comes in a gatefold sleeve. Also has printed lyric insert which has some age marks and is in VG+ condition.
The luminaries include Herbie Hancock (electric piano), Wayne Shorter (soprano sax), Jaco Pastorious (bass/horn arrangements), Peter Erskine (drums), Don Alias (congas), and Emil Richards (percussion). Sprinkled amongst these soulfully jazzy pieces are five "raps," or aural snapshots of the time Mitchell and Mingus spent together. Sadly, Charles Mingus passed before he was able to listen to this timeless and ageless paean to his remarkable contributions to bop and free jazz.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some light crackles and is in VG+ condition. Gatefold cover has some light marks and age spots and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
