Description

Experience the iconic Journey's seventh studio album "Escape" in its original 1981 vinyl pressing. This LP features hit singles like "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Open Arms" that will transport you back to the 1980s. The black vinyl is housed in an embossed cover with the original inner sleeve and lyric sheet. This first pressing of "Escape" by Journey is a must-have for any rock music collector. The 12" record is in very good plus (VG+) condition, with a sleeve grading of the same. The vinyl matrix number is TC 37408 and the record label is Columbia. Get ready to rock out and sing along to these classic rock and pop rock tunes.
The LP cover is in VG+ condition with some small creases, slight edge wear, and a bit of corner wear. The original inner lyrics sleeve is in VG+ condition with a small split in the center bottom, some slight creases that aren't noticeable. Vinyl LP is in great shape considering its age. Just a few light scratches that should not affect playback of the album. Both inner labels are clean and complete with spindle marks. 
Escape (stylized as E5C4P3 on the album cover) is the seventh studio album by American rock band Journey, released on July 17, 1981, by Columbia Records. It topped the American Billboard 200 chart and features four hit Billboard Hot 100 singles – "Don't Stop Believin'" (no. 9), "Who's Crying Now" (no. 4), "Still They Ride" (no. 19) and "Open Arms" (no. 2) – plus rock radio staple "Stone in Love". In July 2021, it was certified diamond (10 million albums sold) by the RIAA, making it the band's most successful studio album and second most successful album overall behind Greatest Hits. The album was #1 on the US Billboard 200 Chart (1981-1982).
