I found this in a record store in LA back in the late 80's. I think it was Amoeba but that memory bank has long been destroyed.
This is a 2LP Radio Show with Journey/Santana song segments underneath band member interviews and a commentator's narration. I'm not about to catalogue the full songs nor segments. There is no cue sheet nor are they listed on the labels. There are a few Honda ads per side, as well. Given that the run-out/matrix numbers are HONDA-82-2 and there is an over-mentioning of Herbie Herbert, I'd suspect that this was a coordinated effort between the parties.
I played this once back then as it's not something one just puts on. Not me anyway. I played it again just now to FLAC and to test for grading so it hasn't been touched in decades.
The vinyls look fantastic but for some slight sleeve rubbings (pictured). They play a little fuzzy through out, perhaps a VPI cleaning would fix. There were two price stickers in the run-outs on Side Two and Side Three. Some residue is still there (pictured) so it's up to you to remove it. I just caught the tone-arm before it passed through. They are also a translucent blue/grey when held up to a strong light source (pictured). They are 110g each.
This set came inside an Escape cover with gold promo stamp on the back. There can't be too many copies of this around, if more than one. A similar set featuring Olivia Newton-John sold here for $800. Just sayin'.....
Zoom in on the very large photos provided. There are ZERO returns unless you can prove that what you received was markedly different than advertised.
