Description
For any Joy Division fan this record needs no introduction. This is a 100% genuine copy of "AN IDEAL FOR LIVING" ep. The record is on the band's own ENIGMA label with the catalogue reference PSS 139.

The run out groove on Side One is inscribed : "PSS - 139 - EP - A-1" with the initials "EG"
The run out groove on Side Two is inscribed : "PSS - 139 - EP - B-1" with the initials "EG"
There is some surface scratching the the vinyl, but it plays perfectly. The label has some slight marking where it has been placed onto the turntable spindle.
The gatefold cover is in mint condition. There are no marks and there is no discolouration. As you will almost certainly know the covers were folded by the band and it is possible that this one could have been held by Ian Curtis himself.
Overall this is probably the best copy of this rare and highly important single that you will get the chance to buy. I have owned this for just over 10 years having purchased it plus a number of other Joy Division and New Order rarities from a work colleague. I am selling this, plus a number of other rare Joy Division singles to raise some cash. Starting price is £200.

There have been a number of questions regarding the record and the sleeve. To save you asking I can confirm that:
- The vinyl next to the label has a serrated edge
- The label has a matte finish
- The gap between the copyright message around the edge of the label and the vinyl is 1mm
- The records poster sleeve is printed on matte paper
- The pictures on the sleeve are in focus
