Joy Division ?– Unknown Pleasures ORIGINAL UK Release
This is the ORIGINAL UK Release of the classic debut from Joy Division. This is a very fine example which I bought on 13 August 1979.

CONDITION: VINYL – Excellent - but here are some very light surface marks - from the original inner sleeve I think. Plays well. This release originally came in two vinyl variations: Black and dark translucent red. These can only be differentiated when holding against a strong light source. THIS IS THE BLACK VINYL VERSION.

All these are hand cut. The "S-5" / "S-9" are very fine and difficult to read. The figure 1's in "INSIDE 1" and "OUTSIDE 1" are actually straight single bars more like this: | These matrix numbers are impossible to photograph - so I hope this helps.
SLEEVE –. Textured sleeve with printed inner sleeve with rounded corners. See picture. This is in EX+ condition, clean and crisp. There are no tears and no marks but there is one small sticker on rear – personal identifier. It will probably come off but I'm not risking it. Printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.
LABEL : VG+ No visible spindle marks. There is a small red sticker on the "Outside" side – see picture– the product of youthful enthusiasm. The label on this side is not perfectly smooth - there are some manufacturing blemishes. The white label "INSIDE" ha no such manufacturing defects.
