Description
I am auctioning off a superb collection of Jazz and Rock LP’s with titles from the 1960’s up to some rare 1990’s pressings. Most of these records are in EXCEPTIONAL condition. Joy Division 'Unknown Pleasures' - very earliest translucent ruby red pressing original UK pressing from 1979. When held to a strong light the vinyl becomes a translucent ruby red colour.

Condition:
Disc: EX+/GOOD PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! A story of two halves. The record is in STUNNING condition, looks barely played. The heavy platter is shiny and bright like the day it was made. No scratches or marks of any note. HOWEVER there are two handling scratches/scuffs each about a 1cm long at the very end of track one and into track two - see photo 12. They are feelable. I have played through the two tracks and it does click on each revolution for the very end of track one and about the first minute of track two, after that it sounds fantastic as does the rest of the record.
Cover/Inserts: EX- The embossed sleeve is in excellent, it has been in a plastic sleeve since new so everything is bright and crisp! Very slight ringwear or rubbing to edges. There is the start of a seam split at the top edge that is about 3cm long -see photo. Inner sleeve is in excellent condition, tight with no splits, just some light handling marks and light foxing.
Amazing clean copy of this rare original 1st UK pressing.
