Description

This is the Limited Edition Box Set Available Only at Best Buy when it was released in the US. It includes 3 Vinyl Albums, 2CDs with 48 page hard-bound book and exclusive poster.


Sadly, Sony choose to use a PVC sleeve for EVERY pressing of this album which resulted in it the PVC melting and bonding to the physical record, which is off gassing. Every pressing and record has this issue; some worse than others. See images of each side of the record…you’ll notice there is a dull gloss over the record; that’s the layer of PVC that bonded with the record.


The audio result of the PVC binding with the record is the sound floor has a moderate hissing sound as it plays. The records do not skip. The hiss is less noticeable when Rob is singing. You’ll most likely have this issue with any pressing of this album, which is why a lot of people choose not to open theirs. I have a sample of the hissing sound. eBay won’t let me add it, but if you’re consider buying it please message me and I’ll see if I can send it that way.


Each record was sonic cleaned. Due to the PVC issue I’m grading this VG, otherwise it would be VG+ to near mint.


I added adequate warning but I also recommend read about the issue with this record before you buy. If you don’t mind a moderate noise sound floor during the quieter parts then stay away from this album entirely.
