JUDAS PRIEST - NOSTRADAMUS 3 Vinyl LP, 2 CD BOX SET Includes Book, Full Size Poster and MP3 Download Card which I have not used (though it may have an expiration date, so I cannot be certain the downloads are still offered after 6 years)
This was offered exclusively by Best Buy in 2008 as a limited edition purchase. I don't believe vinyl was ever offered separately from the Box Set.
I bought this new, but never opened it until I decided to sell it. I wanted to check the content as there are many complaints online about the storage of the LP's The online complaints were that the 3 Vinyl LP's come in individual PVC plastic slip covers that adheres itself to the vinyl and leaves a visible residue. Because of this, I decided to open up the box set and check it out. There is indeed a residue left by the slip covers. I play tested each vinyl and they sound great. The residue doesn't effect the sound quality or playback, but does indeed leave a noticeable visible residue. I replaced the plastic sleeves with poly-lined sleeves to protect them.
Additionally, the Box set includes a hard covered book that includes to CD's featuring the full album and also includes a full size poster.
The Vinyl LP's are MINT (The aforementioned residue left by the original manufacturers plastic sleeves does not effect play) The CD's are MINT. Never played or removed from the sleeves.
The Box is EXCELLENT. I would say MINT, but there are some indentions on the front and back that are only noticeable if you look closely and run your hands across them. I believe this is supposed to be there as part of the design, as in "ancient markings" because it was sealed and the plastic had no tears or rips. However, to be safe, I'm listing it as EXCELLENT
I will ship this complete and very safety boxed. I will likely put bubble wrap inside the box to further protect the content from shifting around during travel.
