Description
This listing is for a very rare vintage vinyl LP of the self-titled folk album by the late Judee Sill.
This is an original US first pressing (PR - Presswell Pressing) that was released in 1971 by Asylum Records with catalog # SD 5050.
This record comes from the collection of a former record store owner who's owned it since they received it new in 1971.
Since then it's been properly taken care of and was only taken out of storage very recently. Before that it had not been played in over 40+ years.
Record Condition:
Only minor visible surface wear is present in the way of some light paper scuffs and a few very small hairline scratches that are only visible upon close inspection.
Clean center labels.
Vinyl still has a very nice gloss.
There's also some light dust/dirt and a few finger print smudges, so a thorough cleaning would remove that and probably brighten the sound even more.
Industry Grade: Solid VG+.
Jacket Condition:
Moderate signs of light shelf wear present on edges, spine, and corners, with the corners having the most wear (see photos).
Only light ring wear is present.
No seam splits or any other major defects.
Inner Sleeve: Original paper inner sleeve (but it will ship in a modern inner sleeve outside of the jacket)
Industry Grade: Conservatively I'd grade the jacket as a stronger VG..
