This auction features the pictured Judy Garland THE WIZARD OF OZ 1939 DECCA Records RARE Canadian Pressing + INSERT.
Canadian pressing on Midnight Blue Decca Label.
The Compo Co. Limited Lachine Montreal Canada
Canadian pressings are really rare to find.
Includes hard to find Rare - Three Fold Insert containing Biographical Notes of the Composers of the movies music.
Story in Pictures and text on inside front and back covers.
Features the music as sung by Judy Garland as well as music performed by Victor Young & His Orchestra.
Misprint on record 3.
**Due to limited picture space on ebay I was only able to show one side of each record. Please write and I will forward pictures of the other sides.**
Record 1: 2672 - Over The Rainbow and The Jitterbug.
Shows light wear and some spindle marks, label is clean with light wear to the lettering on one side. .
Record 2: 2673 - Munchkinland Part 1 and Part 2.
Near mint condition. No wear, no spindle marks, label is clean and clear.
Record 3: 2674 - If I Only Had A Brain and If I Only Had A Heart (If I Only Had The Nerve) [Record Reads: If I Only Had A Nerve].
No wear, no spindle marks and label is clean and clear. Unfortunately There is a piece missing from this one.
Record 4: 2675 - The Merry Old Land Of Oz and We're Off To See The Wizard. No wear, no spindle marks and label is clean and clear with very light wear to the lettering on one side.
Insert Has some folds, creases and stains as seen.
The covers show edge and corner wear. There is a 4" split to the seam cover. There is some fading to the gold gilding on the seam
