Julian Cope 1987 Fan Club Gift Set No. 1 Antar Records w/7" EP
Rare opportunity to acquire this Head Heritage archive copy of Julian Cope's 1987 fan club box, which is being sold off as part of a huge stock clearance. No one at Head Heritage remembers this item, so it's being sold 'as described'. Originally only available to 'subscribers to the Julian Cope Drivers Club' (according to lettering on the box itself), this box set comprises:
One 7" box with glued black-and-white artwork
One 7" EP containing three tracks: 1) Christmas Mourning, (2) Transmitting, (3) Interview
1 x large All Ugly Radio sticker
1 x Go Action With Da Da Sound sticker
1 x JU 87 sticker
1 x small Planet Ride sticker
4 x Spacehopper stickers.
The box is clean save for a couple of lifts here and there from the outer paper. Imperfections elsewhere – minor air bubbles, off centre gluing, etc. – are the result of this being a handmade. Perhaps a mark here and there, all tiny, however. Both sides of the disc have just been played, and are clean except for one solitary pop two-thirds the way through side two, plus minor static on the run out grooves of that same side.
