Description

A box set issued to members of the Julian Cope Drivers Club (1987).  This item was not for general sale and I have no idea how many of these were made or how many lucky people received one.  But I did.  And now it could be yours.

 

Included in the box are:

  • A signed print of Julian Cope (signature has a slight smudge).
  • 2 double sided unsigned prints of Donald Ross-Skinner, James Eller, Chris Whitten and Double de Harrison.  Those of you who have followed Copey will know who these are.
  • A vinyl 33rpm 7'' with 'Interview' on side one and 'Christmas Mourning' and 'Transporting' on side two (see photo of rear of box).
  • 5 stickers (I have lost 2 or 3 of these items over the years).
  • A Julian Cope Drivers Club membership card (number 169, unfortunately with my name on it). 
  • A fan club postcard from Cindy and Fran telling all members to be patient and that your money has not been banked yet!
  • A letter from the club hoping we are happy with our lovely box set.

This item is in good condition but please remember it was issued in 1987.  The vinyl is immaculate with no scratches, the box has faded and slightly yellow, a red pen mark is on the back about 3 cm's long (visible on photo) and as mentioned, 2 or 3 of the stickers have gone missing.  Apart from that, this would be a cherished item for somebody really keen on the man from Tamworth.
