Description
Up for auction is Julie London’s “Calendar Girl” LP. U.S. late 50’s pressing in Spectra-Sonic-Sound, Liberty Records SL 9002. Vinyl is M- and outer gatefold cover jacket grades VG+ to VG++. A more complete description follows.
Vinyl looks M- or nicer. A few very light scuff marks, if that. Near new looking shine, sheen and high gloss. Has A-1 master stamper. Center label has dark green/blue paper with silver ink. Says, “Deluxe Series” with silver shield. Ultra light wear on center label, otherwise looks close to brand new. Plays loud, clear, crisp and close to new sounding clean.
Outer gatefold cover has light shelf wear. Very light wear mark along top border on front and back cover. Has “Central Music Co. Exchangeable” sticker on back cover. Spine has 1/2” break/wear mark on bottom and light wear along the top of spine. Nice, clean and bright color on inside of gatefold. Includes original “wax paper” type inner sleeve which also has “Central Music Co” sticker attached. Cover grades VG+ to VG++ due to light age wear/break in spine. ??All and all, one of the better copies i’ve ever seen. A M-, new sounding vinyl record with a very lightly worn cover.
