Description
For auction with no reserve one copy "Julius Watkins Sextet" 10" Blue Note Records Lexington Ave RARE Jazz Album.
Blue Note BLP 5053 with 767 Lexington Ave. address on label.
Vinyl grades Good plus to Very Good minus by sight and somewhat by sound. I played it on a custom El Cheapo turntable I keep for just such occasions and it played through no problems and music comes through clearly albeit among numerous pops and clicks. The worst scratch is on track one side two but it plays right through with no issues other than a pop each time.
Jacket looks decent with about average wear or maybe even a little less, starting to split from age on the bottom just a little. The photo of the vinyl is especially high resolution and by mousing over with zoom you might get a really good look at it.
More bang for the buck with this lower grade but acceptable copy. This record if in premium condition would sell in the $300 range, we are priced to sell here with a starting bid at only 10% of that price and no reserve. If you bid at all you will have a very good chance of winning, so don't be shy.
Tracks: Linda Delia, Perpetuation, I Have Known, Leete.
