This is a great LP in great condition – playgrades as a conservative VG+ - some surface noise. The cover has no tears, tape or ring wear. One corner has been wrinkled with a 1/8 inch corner seam split being the only split.

Please read: An important note about this Mono recording

Before you pull the trigger on any LPs from this era, please consider: Mono records from 1949-1957 are real “microgroove” LPs with a .01 mil groove. After 1957, it is questionable if LPs labeled "mono" were indeed pressed with the .01 mil groove, or if they were cut with a stereo lathe with the same info on both sides. You don't "need" a mono cart to play a mono microgroove record, but they sure do sound a lot better with the correct stylus. 
Correct tracking weight is also vital.  Not enough downforce (and we’re talking about anything less than 1.8 grams here) will cause damage to the groove walls. If you track too lightly, the cartridge will bounce around the wall of the groove and chip away at it. Low vertical tracking force (VTF) doesn’t reveal ticks and pops - it creates them. I track mono records at 2 grams, which is still a  lot less than period equipment.

Playing mono records back in stereo brings out more surface noise vs signal from both the stylus and the amp. If you don't have a switch, you can rig up two Y cables to combine the signal for the same effect (the switch is much easier, if you have one).

Do not bid on this recording if you intend to play it on a stereo cart tracking at less than 2 grams. I have play-graded this LP and will not accept a return if you destroy it with improper tracking.

This was recorded on a Technics turntable with a GE VRIII mono cartridge.

This is a great LP in great condition. I’m the second owner, having cared for them since 1972 when I received them from a Boston DJ who got them new in 1956. As serious collectors, we both made certain that our LPs were kept clean, protected and played with fresh stylii. Remember this is a high fidelity MONO recording. It will sound much better and reveal virtually no surface noise when played on a good mono cartridge. A stereo stylus will pick up surface noise from the sidewalls of the groove where no music information resides and can damage the LP if tracking too lightly.

M MINT = Perfect, unplayed record.

NM NEAR MINT = Slightly less than perfect, vinyl has a few slightest of wear, nothing major.

VG+ VERY GOOD PLUS = Has a few more minor scratches and scuffs which shouldn't affect play.

VG VERY GOOD = More scratches and scuffs than VG+, but still in fairly nice condition.

G GOOD+ = Plays without skipping, noticeable surface noise and groove wear

G GOOD = Considerable wear, but will not skip

P, F  POOR, FAIR = may have some skips or warps and considerable surface noise

COVER GRADING

M MINT = Perfect, no flaws, defects, marks.

NM NEAR MINT = Close to perfect, very minor wear, no wrinkles, seam splits or writing.

VG+ VERY GOOD PLUS = Slight edge or ring wear, minimal seam split, no writing or marks.

VG VERY GOOD = Seams split less than 1 inch, edge wear, or other similar defects.

G+ GOOD PLUS = Seam splits less than 3 inches, evidence of tape or sticker removal, etc.

G GOOD = Major seam splits, some writing, tape, stickers, tears, major corner creases.

P, F  POOR & FAIR = Gouges, water damage, etc.

I use the US Postal Service for shipping in the U.S. and eBay’s Global Shipping Service for foreign shipping. Double LPs (2 x LP) count as Two LPs. 

 International Buyers: Do not ask me to use alternative shipping or to lowball the value. Consider your Global Shipping costs when bidding.

LP PACKAGING

I package LPs in new Bags Unlimited cardboard LP mailers, and always take the LP out of the jacket to avoid any seam splitting that could occur in shipment. The jacket will be in a plastic LP sleeve. The LP will be between cardboard and 2 sheets of bubble wrap.

This is all included in the low shipping price. This insures that you receive your item in the best possible condition.
