Description
This is part of a large auction featuring R&B, doo-wop and blues singles from several small independent labels of the 1950's/early 60's.

Release: The Silhouettes – Get A Job / I Am Lonely
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1957
Notes: Maroon label first pressing. Classic track originally released locally in Philadelphia before being licensed to Ember for national distribution. It has been in several movies and inspired the Doo-Wop revival group Sha Na Na's name.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in great shape with basically no wear. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very nice, with no tears/scuffing/stickers. This is a really nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, has a blank sleeve that I believe is original. Has some wrinkling and a small pencil number as well as some top edge wear. No tears/splits.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in late-January for a rock 'n roll/rockabilly auction and a very cool selection of 78's after that.
