Lone Town Blues / She's The Little Girl For Me
Here's a genuine and extremely rare slice of vintage down-home blues you won't see again anytime soon. The unheralded vocalist & guitarist JUNIOR BROOKS on the RPM label with sidemen Elmon Mickle (hca), Baby Face Turner (gtr) and Bill Russell (dms). The recordings date from late 1951 in North Little Rock, Arkansas and this 78 was issued on the Bihari brothers' West Coast imprint. Labels are absolutely clean and beautiful on both sides. Lone Town Blues shows some light signs of play wear while She's The Little Girl is clean. Both sides have a number of small bumps in the shellac pressing itself, but the record plays through without skips on either side. There are some water (?) marks on the A-side. No cracks - no chips. This is an extremely rare blues 78 so please bid accordingly. Thanks for looking and good luck!
