Description
Mega rare original LP of Jutta Hipp and Hans Koller - Das is Jazz! (Decca DL-8229 - mono) Original black labels with deep groove on both sides. Extremely rare U.S. edition of the legendary Jutta Hipp's early German recordings along side her long time collaborator, German tenor master Hans Koller. Also features Rolf Kuhn and others in an extremely rare classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in Mint/Near Mint condition with basically no marks to report and with likely all of the original shine - really remarkable for one of these. The cover is in VG+ conditon with a bit of light age/shelf wear, a bit of clear tape on the top seam, a small area of light staining (bottom left) and an old rubber stamp on the back - it actually looks much better than it reads here. Not quite perfect, but if you can find a better copy, just buy it!
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
Shipping discounts available for multiple items sent together to any country.
Mailing costs have gone up. Postal rates have increased dramatically, the cost of record mailers has increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing - in addition to Paypal’s fees on mailing payments. I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.
International mailing costs: International overseas mailing (Europe, Japan, Asia etc…) for one LP would be $29.00. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, Paypal fees on mailing as well as mailers and packing materials. One LP to Canada would be $20.00
US mailing costs: Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, Paypal fees on mailing as well as the cost of mailers and packing materials.
Paypal accepted or write for preferred payment options. Serious bidders only - payment must be received in ten days from notification. All items are guaranteed upon return in condition sent, but mailing costs are NOT refundable. Thanks for your interest and good luck.
