Description
1999 Juvenile “Back That Azz Up” 12" single on Cash Money / Universal, catalog 012156482-1, from the triple-platinum album 400 Degreez. This is one of the defining New Orleans bounce and late-90s Southern rap records, produced by Mannie Fresh and featuring Lil Wayne and Mannie Fresh.
This copy includes the original black die-cut sleeve with the large yellow hype sticker reading “Back That Azz Up,” “The Smash Hit From Juvenile’s Triple Platinum Album Release 400 Degreez.” The sleeve also retains an old Beat Street Records retail price sticker showing $4.99, a nice piece of hip-hop retail ephemera that gives this copy more period character than a plain loose 12".
Track versions include the Clean Radio Edit, Album Version, Extended Version, Instrumental, TV Track, and Ronald Williams and Bryan Williams track. The label credits Mannie Fresh as producer and executive producers Ronald Williams and Bryan Williams.
Audio grade: EX. Strong playback copy with light visible handling under bright light. Black sleeve shows rub, scuffing, creasing, edge wear, and shelf wear, but the original hype sticker and shop price sticker remain intact and give the sleeve strong display value.
NOTE: Please consider that your audio equipment blows mine away and the record will invariably sound better on your system. Also, I do not have the ability to professionally clean records and give one static brush before ONE sampling, then back into the sleeve and jacket. My goal is to give you all you need for a transparent purchasing experience.
