Over the years this 1969 1st pressing of the self-titled release from Kak has become a collectors dream to own, especially in this condition. Well dream no more, for this could enter your record collection next week!
This record HAS NOT been cleaned on a VPI machine since it doesn't need to be. It has been well taken care of and has it's original sheen and luster to it, not to mention the play which is without any surface noise save for the outer edge dead wax and an occasional very faint pop which you would have to have the volume all the way up to even hear! There's no noticeable wear, and the play definitely reflects that. Quite an amazing album and doubly so given the condition!
Disc is NM with almost no wear!! This album has been played less than 5 times that I am aware of. Infact I think that play grading it for this auction provided more wear than anything else in its nearly fifty years of existence. The only thing worth noting is that it has a very very, almost unnoticeable warble on side two which I attribute to early stages of a storage bow. AMAZING CONDITION!!
Jacket is EX with minor corner dings but no seem splits. Very very slight storage wear to covers but hardly noticeable. Apparently I once used it to jot down a number on a piece of paper and that stupid choice left the imprint which is not even apparent unless you hold it in very bright light and search hard for it (it's shown in the pictures in the close up of the top right corner of the cover, see if you can even see it :)
