Kak (Epic BN 26429) 1969
Here's a lovely ORIGINAL copy of one of the very best and very rarest US major label psych LPs. From the mighty 'Electric Sailor' to the brooding 'Lemonaide Kid', this one has it all - and the epic 'Trieulogy' is one of the greatest trips of the era. This is a guaranteed original - the album was very carefully bootlegged in the 80s, and to this day many collectors unwittingly own bootlegs that they believe are originals. With the assistance of one of the world's leading West Coast collectors / experts, I have looked into this very carefully and can say with total confidence that this is an original. Here are the reasons:
1) the front cover has a small black block top right
2) the back cover does not have the 'demonstration' stamp (the cover used for the bootleg had such a stamp at an angle in the middle of the back cover)
3) the labels have a circular ridge about an inch in from the edge
4) the inside of the sleeve is white, not brown
5) the matrix is scratched, not stamped
SLEEVE
The fragile, unlaminated sleeve is in VG+ to EX condition. There are no rips, splits or writing, just some minor age wear. The spine is intact.
VINYL
The glossy disc is in lovely EX shape, with some minor surface marks. You would do well to find a better one.
