KALEIDOSCOPE - Faintly Blowing

Rare and hugely in demand psychedelic holy grail in an astounding near mint condition.
This is the second to last album from the collection we bought that belonged to a man who was involved in the music industry in the 1960's and 1970's who collected Country music. There were quite a few albums like this that he was given back in the 60's and played just a couple of times.
This is one of the copies with the water mark on each side. It can be seen on two of the photos below.
Pressed on the rough textured black and silver Fontana label and housed in a laminated gatefold sleeve.
As you will have gathered by now, if you have your speakers switched on, we have recorded the entire album for you. We have nothing to hide here and want you to be really happy with your purchase should you win the auction.
This whole album was recorded on our most sensitive set up. A Nagaoka cartridge with a Nagaoka elliptical stylus. This is one unforgiving set up and any problems can be heard all too easily.
I listened while recording and the playback is simply incredible. You really would be hard pushed to find a better quality audio experience. Lets not forget this is a psych album from 1969, most copies are absolutely trashed, but not this one.
The playback has superb stereo clarity, strong and powerful. There are no clicks, no sticks, no jumps and practically no crackle whatsoever. We have not used any software to improve the sound, it has just been recorded straight into the computer. Even the breaks between the tracks are quiet as you can hear.
However, the water mark on side one does cause a "woosh" sound in the background for approximately one minute and five seconds. On side two i only heard about five seconds of the "woosh" sound.
This album has hardly ever been played and then only carefully on the best of equipment. Absolutely no groovewear whatsoever. Just imagine what it sounds like on your deck, so much better than the soundfile.
Just incase you're worried that this is leading to a vg record with great sound, rest assured the visual grade is superb as well. A nice shiny record that has not been overplayed. Please read on for full details.
If you win one of these records rest assured that we do not use those flimsy record mailers. We pack with the record outside of the sleeve (inside a new plain inner sleeve), placed in a polythene sleeve and then inside a cruciform box with stiffeners. All packing materials are new. We want your item to reach you in the condition it leaves us.
FAINTLY BLOWING
Near impossible to find in anything approaching this superb condition. A truly near mint copy that would be a fabulous addition to anyones collection, especially with the matching superb audio. Could only be upgraded by a copy without the water mark and they really are as rare as......
The sleeve is the correct gatefold sleeve which is laminated on the outside and matt on the inside.
Overall the sleeve is in near mint condition with the only wear being the slightest of corner wear and the slightest touch of ringwear to one side of the rear sleeve:
No Tears
No Writing
No Splits
No Corner bumps
No Creases
No Bends
No Indentations
No Sticker tears or residue
No Pressure marks
Comes with a plain white inner sleeve with square edges and a slight waxy feel.
The labels are the rough textured black and silver Fontana labels. The labels are in mint condition. I can see just one spider mark. Definitely the label of a record that has rarely been played.
No Writing
No Tears
No Spindle wear
No Finger marks
Matrix:
Side 1) 886496 1Y//1
Side 2) 886496 2Y//1
The record surfaces still have their original full gloss sheen to them. Apart from the two water marks which most copies have and are from the pressing and not wear to the record, both sides are near mint. I would grade mint but in sunlight i can make out the very slightest wispy line that you really have to look for. Even angled under two 50 watt halogen spotlights the album looks very close to mint.
No Scratches
No Hairlines
No Scuffs
No Paper scuffs
The playback is superb. Pretty much perfect play with even the spaces between tracks playing quietly. We have not used any noise reduction on the soundfile, no other software, just recorded directly into the computer with our most sensitive set up. We have recorded the gaps between songs and they do mostly play through without any sound whatsoever. The sound through our system is just incredible, crisp, clear and strong with no sign of groovewear. There is just the wooshing sound from the water marks that hardly happens on side two.
No Sticks
No Jumps
No Clicks
No Pops
No Crackle
Please note that we grade all records the same way, whether they're 40 years old or one year old.

Scans are of actual item up for auction. All records are packed securely & most importantly packed outside of the picture sleeve (in a plain inner sleeve) so as to avoid seam splits during shipping.
