A BRILLIANT COPY!

Here's a legendary item from a legendary group!! With a sound and style VERY reminiscent of the earliest PINK FLOYD recordings, it's the very FIRST UK 45 from KALEIDOSCOPE; the pairing of "Flight From Ashiya" with "Holidaymaker"!! What makes this nugget even better is that it is one of the small batch of initial copies that came adorned in a superb and now ultra-rare picture sleeve!!!

Kaleidoscope comprised: Peter Daltrey (vocals & keyboards), Eddy Pumer (guitars & keyboards), Steve Clark (bass & flute) and Dan Bridgman (drums). When this fabulous 45 was issued in the Spring of 1967, dressed in brightly coloured shirts and scarves with beads and psychedelic backdrops, Kaleidoscope was certainly the group to watch out for!!! "Flight From Ashiya" got rave reviews and the Pirate radio stations played it constantly, but somehow (like so many of the uber-progressive sounds of that time) it didn't set the charts alight.
