Some rhythms refuse to age. 'World A Music' stands tall as one of reggae legend Ini Kamoze's defining moments, and it is now reissued via the mighty Taxi imprint with all its original authority intact. Cut in 1993, the groove is instantly recognisable, later commandeered for Damian Marley's early 00s smash, but here it's raw and foundational. The extended vocal mix stretches out on the A-side, Kamoze cool and commanding over Sly & Robbie's heavyweight rhythm architecture. Flip it and the dub opens wide: cavernous drops, rolling bass, disciplined drum science. Stone-cold reggae to dial up the temperature of any session.
